Stormy and Hot Weather is in the Forecast

(Undated) – Stormy and hot weather dominate the forecast for this week. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, periods of thunderstorms are expected much of the week. Some of the storms today will be capable of strong wind gusts and heavy rain. They say the severe weather threat later in the week is “more uncertain.” The front that is bringing the threat of rain is also bringing higher humidity. The current forecast is calling for heat index values of 100 to 110 degrees each afternoon Tuesday through Thursday. Stay tuned to Classic Hits, WTYE, for the latest weather information.
