More Storms Forecast for the Area

(Undated) – More storms could be headed our way. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, following a wet and stormy day yesterday, additional “strong-to-severe” thunderstorms may develop this afternoon and evening. They say the primary hazards of this storm are damaging wind gusts, frequent lightning, and torrential rainfall. They also say this afternoon will be “very hot and humid” with heat index values peaking between 100 and 105 degrees. Stay tuned to Classic Hits, WTYE, for the latest weather information.
