Cooler Temperatures are Forecast for the Weekend

(Undated) – Another hot and humid day is in the forecast. The National Weather Service says we can expect afternoon heat indices from 100 to 105 degrees. They remind the public to limit outside activities to the cooler parts of the day and if you have outdoor plans, take frequent rest breaks and drink plenty of water. They also say that relief is on the way. A cold front will pass through during the afternoon and early evening, with cooler and less humid air arriving tonight. The daytime high for Wednesday through Friday is expected to hover around the low to mid-80s with upper 70s forecast for the weekend.
