(Flat Rock) – Flat Rock will be celebrating homecoming this weekend. The 2024 edition of the Flat Rock Homecoming begins tomorrow morning with the parade at 10 am. Flat Rock Homecoming representative, Darcee Dunlap, says the theme for this year’s parade is “There’s a Hero in All of Us.”
Dunlap says the line-up for the parade will be at 9 a.m. at the ball diamond and will “step off” at 10 a.m. Saturday will be full of events and activities including the “Good People Award, children’s games, the baby contest, the pie eating contest, and the annual frog jumping contest. The Car and Bike Show runs from 4 pm – 7 pm. The day wraps up with fireworks at 9 pm. Sunday will feature the Community Church Service in the park at 10:30 am.
