Gas Prices are Trending Lower

(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded slipped lower over the weekend. According to GasBuddy.com, the national average has fallen to $3.38 a gallon, down six cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has also fallen six cents from Friday to $3.76 a gallon. In Indiana, the statewide average is $3.32 a gallon, down seven cents from Friday. Mississippi continues to have the lowest statewide average, hovering around $2.91 a gallon. California drivers are paying the highest prices in the nation at $4.52 a gallon.
