Oblong Public Works Will Haul Off Yard Waste

(Oblong) – The Village of Oblong is reminding residents if they live inside the Village limits and are doing lawn cleanup, Oblong Public Works can help. According to Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, the Oblong Public Works will pick up yard waste free of charge. She says all you need to do is get it bagged up, set out by your roadway or sidewalk, and call the Public Works office to be placed on the pickup list. To get on the list, call 618-592-3122 Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
