(Undated) – The school year is officially in “full swing” and health experts are reminding the public about the importance of vaccines. Flu, COVID-19, and RSV remain the three main concerns. The IDPH says influenza starts to appear around November, and peaks in January. RSV, particularly in young children, starts to show up in September or October. COVID-19 has been a bit more seasonal each year but tends to peak in October. As always, the public is reminded to get vaccinated and if you have any questions, contact your primary care doctor.
