Fall Looks to be Warm and Dry

By Tony Collins Aug 23, 2024 | 6:39 AM
(Undated) – We could be in for a warm and dry fall across the listening area. DTN Ag Meteorologist, John Baranick, says while the long-term models are “untrustworthy,” we appear to be in for a warm and dry pattern statewide.
Baranick says while we will see a bit of a warm-up to wrap up August, highs in September will continue a steady decline making for a great harvest season and ideal weather for drying out crops.
