Gas Prices Slip Lower Headed into the Weekend

(Undated) – Gas prices continue to slip lower. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average has fallen to $3.37 a gallon, down a penny from Monday’s average. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen six cents from Monday to $3.70 a gallon. Prices in Indiana have ticked higher, jumping eight cents from Monday to $3.40. Mississippi continues to have the lowest statewide average, hovering around $2.88 a gallon. California drivers are paying the highest prices in the nation at $4.54 a gallon.
