Heat and Humidity Return to the Forecast

(Undated) – Heat and humidity have returned to the forecast. The National Weather Service has issued a “Heat Advisory” for the listening area which will go into effect tomorrow at 11 a.m. and continue through 8 p.m. tomorrow. According to the latest “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, heat indices are forecast to reach the middle 90s this afternoon, increasing the risk for heat-related illness in vulnerable populations. Highs in the upper 90s and afternoon heat indices for tomorrow are forecast to climb as high as 105 to 110. Temperatures are forecast to fall as we move into the weekend with daytime highs returning to the 80s for Saturday and Sunday.
