Oblong Village Board Meets Today

(Oblong) – The Oblong Village Board meets tonight and they have a handful of items on the agenda. The board will get an update on the Fall Follies from Oblong Chamber Representative, Angie Catt. They will also hear a request from the Shrine Club to use the 4-way stop September 21st from 8 a.m. to Noon. They are also set to approve payments for the recent and ongoing work at the Oblong Park. In other business, the Village Board will hear from Conxxus/Metro regarding an estimate for Village phone lines and fiber optic internet. The Village Board will also set Trick or Treat night in Oblong. The Oblong Village Board meets this afternoon at 5 p.m. in Farley Room of the Municipal Building.
