(Undated) – The Crawford County Kids Association is inviting the public to attend a groundbreaking ceremony. The CCKA will be breaking ground on the new “Crawford County Early Education and Childcare Facility.” This project has been in the works since the Spring of 2022 when surveys and workshops identified a need for additional childcare services in Crawford County. According to Crawford County Kids Association President, Resa Shaner, at that time there were 12 providers, 278 licensed spots, and over 200 children on waitlists for child care. The groundbreaking is set for tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. at 205 W. Highland Avenue across from the Robinson High School.
