Gas Prices Tick Slightly Higher

(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has ticked higher from Monday. According to GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.22 a gallon, up a nickel from Monday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is up three cents from Monday to $3.46 a gallon. In Indiana, it’s up seven cents to $3.24 a gallon. Mississippi has the lowest statewide average at $2.65 a gallon and California has the highest price at $4.66 a gallon, both down a penny from the beginning of the week.
