(Undated) – Rainy and windy weather are in the forecast for the weekend. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, wind is going to be the primary concern today. They say Northeast winds will gust up to around 55 mph at times, peaking this afternoon and evening. They also say there is a “slight risk” for “excessive rainfall” today that could result in flooding. Moderate to heavy showers will continue at times through the day tomorrow with a “marginal” risk of excessive rainfall that could result in flooding across portions of east central and southeast Illinois.
