(Oblong) – One of the marquee events of the year is tomorrow in Oblong. The “Spooktacular Fall Follies” get underway at 8 a.m. with a 5k. If running isn’t your thing, there will also be a biscuit and gravy breakfast at the Central United Methodist Church. Oblong Chamber President, Angie Catt, says they are expecting a great vendor turnout this year.
The Fall Follies will feature entertainment throughout the day and will wrap up with the largest nighttime parade in Illinois stepping off from the Crawford County Fairgrounds at 7 p.m. The Spooktacular Band Fest is also going on tomorrow at the Oblong High School.
