(Undated) – You may have noticed the daylight hours are getting shorter. The annual end of “Daylight Saving Time” is this weekend. At this time, clocks will “fall back” one hour, giving us more daylight in the dark autumn and winter mornings. The general idea is that this allows us to make better use of natural daylight. Moving the clocks forward one hour in the spring grants us more daylight during summer evenings while moving clocks back one hour in the fall grants us more daylight during winter mornings. Authorities also remind you that the time change marks a perfect time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. “Daylight Saving Time” ends on Sunday, November 2nd at 2:00 am.
