(Undated) – The election is in the books and as the smoke clears, what will gas prices look like? According to GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, it is still too early to tell what if any impact President-Elect Trump will have on overall prices.
De Haan says while a Trump administration would likely be “friendly” to the oil industry, trying to drastically cut energy prices could backfire.
He says in the short term we aren’t likely to see any significant changes in the price at the pump. The current national average is hovering around $3.09 a gallon.
