National Average Slips Lower Over Holiday Weekend

(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded slipped lower over the Thanksgiving weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.01 a gallon, down two cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen two cents from Friday to $3.20 a gallon. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.05 a gallon, four cents lower than Friday. Oklahoma has the lowest prices in the nation at $2.39 a gallon, down three cents from Friday. California has the highest statewide average at $4.34, up a penny from Friday.
