New Laws Set to Go Into Effect January 1st

(Undated) — Illinois is a couple of days away from a batch of new laws. About 300 new laws will go into effect with the new year. That list includes the final minimum wage increase, new regulations for AI, and a new law that requires schools to have defibrillators in all school buildings. Illinois’ new laws go into effect twice a year. Once in January and once in July.
