(Undated) – As we wrap up the year, 2024 will go down in the record books.
That was Illinois State Climatologist, Trent Ford. Ford says the year is going to end right around “normal” for precipitation. However, some portions of the state saw above-normal rainfall.
The current forecast for our area from the National Weather Service is calling for a wet and rainy end to 2024 with scattered showers through New Year’s Eve.
