(Undated) – The Crawford County Emergency Management Agency is offering some tips to keep your pipes from freezing. They say with below-freezing temperatures in the forecast these few simple tips may save you money and hassle in the long run. They advise the public to open cabinets regularly to let warm air circulate to pipes, keep garage doors closed, and let faucets drip slightly. They also say to make sure the temperature in the home is at least fifty-five degrees when you aren’t home. When you are home, keep the thermostat consistent and open interior doors to help keep your home at a constant temperature.
