Knox County Issues “Travel Emergency”

(Undated) — The Knox County Commissioners have issued a “travel emergency” for Knox County, effective immediately. According to authorities, that means local travel is restricted to emergency management workers only.  Residents are reminded to stay off the roads while the emergency is in place.  You are also reminded to cooperate with all necessary emergency measures, and to obey directions of properly identified officers.  The advisory will be in place until further notice.
