(Undated) — The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle accident Saturday. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, around 11:10 am Deputies responded to County Road 1625 North near County Road 625 East in Prairie Township. The report indicates that a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro driven by a male juvenile lost control for unknown reasons, exited the roadway, and broke a utility pole causing the support line to drop across the roadway. Tyler Moore, of Casey, driving a 2010 Toyota Camry was traveling east on County Road 1625 North and struck the support line causing the vehicle to exit the roadway on the right side of the road. Due to the wire possibly being hot and lying across the hood of his car, Moore remained in the vehicle. Norris Electric CO-OP arrived on the scene and made it safe for the occupants to exit. United Life Care Ambulance Service personnel arrived on the scene and evaluated the occupants of the vehicles who had suspected minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Prairie-Licking Fire Department and the Crawford County Rescue assisted in the accident.
