Gas Prices Trend Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.08 a gallon, down nine cents from Friday. The statewide average for Illinois is $3.23 a gallon, down a penny from Friday. Indiana drivers are paying a statewide average of $2.91 a gallon, down three cents from Friday. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest prices nationwide with an average of $2.63 a gallon, down two cents from Friday’s average. Those in California are paying the highest prices in the nation at $4.74 a gallon, a six-cent decline from Friday.
