(Oblong) — The Village of Oblong has announced its “Spring Cleanup” schedule. According to Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, on Tuesday, April 15th, Republic Services will hold its Spring Cleanup. This service is open to Republic customers inside the village limits. Fielder says that on Saturday, May 3rd, the Village will host an electronics and appliance recycling event at the OPW Maintenance Building in the Oblong Park. She says this event is open to businesses and individuals regardless of where they live and will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m. to noon or until the trailers are full. She reminds the public that there will be a nominal disposal charge. Find a full break down below.
