(Undated) — Tariffs and the ongoing “trade war” could drive summer gas prices higher. GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, says this summer could bring four dollar per gallon gas to Illinois.
De Haan says that while he remains optimistic that the current tariffs and ongoing “trade war” will come to an end before the “summer driving season,” motorists should prepare for higher prices on the horizon.
