Illinois Unemployment Rate Remains Stable

(Springfield, IL) — Illinois’ unemployment rate is stable. The Illinois Department of Employment Security says the state’s jobless rate was unchanged at four-point-nine-percent in January. Non-farm payroll jobs were down slightly by eleven hundred. Compared to a year ago, total non farm payroll jobs increased by thirty-six-thousand.
