Oblong Unit 4 Board Meets Tonight

(Oblong) — The Oblong Unit 4 Board meets tonight and they have several items on the agenda. In “Old Business,” they will hear committee and academic foundation reports. In “New Business,” the Unit 4 Board will approve IHSA Membership and the Oblong Sports Boosters report. They are also set to discuss and approve using APEX Learning for high school summer school, the Vision 2030 resolution, insurance for 2025-2026, and a pair of class trip requests. In other business, the board will discuss and approve the participation of the grade school and high school teams in the Regional Brain Games competition at Rend Lake, the High School Math Team, and FCCLA’s request to attend the state competition. They will also discuss and approve the FBLA request to attend the State Leadership Conference in Springfield and discuss and approve the JR. High Cheer Camp request. The Oblong Unit 4 Board meets this evening at 6 p.m. in the Oblong Room of the Grade School.
