Robinson City Council Meets Tonight

(Robinson) — The Robinson City Council meets tonight, and several items are on the agenda. In “Old Business,” they are set to vote on an ordinance to amend “Chapter 13” of the Robinson City Code to allow chickens within the city limits. In “New Business,” the City Council is set to accept an offer to purchase real estate at 403 West Mefford and approve the Robinson Tax Increment Financing redevelopment plan and project. In other business, they will approve the advertising for the Police Chief Position, approve LED lighting upgrades through the Ameren Energy Efficiency Program, and the hiring of summer help for the Street Department. The Robinson City Council meets this evening at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Robinson Civic Center.
