Showers and Thunderstorms Expected Today and Tonight

The National Weather Service says scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, mainly during the afternoon and evening. They say a few strong-to-severe storms could occur, with the primary hazards being large hail and damaging winds. They say total rainfall amounts will generally be less than half an inch. The National Weather Service says low temperatures will fall to near freezing Friday night. They say the Wabash River at the Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant crested yesterday and it is forecast to fall below flood stage Thursday, April 17th, and continue falling and remain below flood stage.
