(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is about seven cents lower today than a week ago. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.21 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.45 a gallon, seven cents lower than last Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.16 a gallon, fifteen cents lower than a week ago. Oklahoma has the lowest average in the country at $2.71 per gallon. Meanwhile, California has the highest average at $4.88 per gallon, unchanged from a week ago.
