National Average for Gas Unchanged

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is unchanged from a week ago. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.15 a gallon, unchanged from last Friday. Here in Illinois, drivers are paying an average of $3.45 a gallon, six cents higher than the end of last week. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.27 a gallon, a seventeen-cent jump from a week ago. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest statewide average at $2.70, unchanged from a week ago. California drivers are paying the highest at $4.48 a gallon, up two cents.
