(Undated) — A Robinson man was arrested last week on more than two dozen weapons charges following an ongoing firearm theft investigation. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, on Friday Deputies arrested Brandon Williams. Following his arrest, in collaboration with Crawford County, State’s Attorney, Cole Shaner, Williams was booked into the Crawford County Jail and formally charged with Unlawful Sale or Delivery of Firearms, Gunrunning, two counts of Theft, one count of Burglary, twenty-four counts of Unlawful Possession of Stolen Firearms, and Obstructing Justice. Rutan says the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System was activated, and several members of other law enforcement agencies assisted Crawford County Deputies in searching for the stolen weapons. He says additional information will be released when it becomes available.
