(Undated) — Illinois Eastern Community Colleges (IECC) has partnered with Vincennes University to create a new option for students interested in Surgical Technology careers.
That was Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Program Director of Marketing and Communications, Chris Forde. Forde says the IECC coursework will be available in-person or online. He says the partnership was developed in direct response to a regional workforce shortage. Local hospitals are seeking qualified Surgical Technologists, and with a nationally recognized program nearby at Vincennes University, the collaboration provides a pathway to train and retain professionals in the area.
