Drug Take Back is Saturday

(Robinson) – The abuse of prescription drugs continues to rise, and the source of these drugs is often your medicine cabinet. National Drug Take Back Day is set for Saturday. The National Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. However, if you don’t want to wait until Saturday, Crawford Memorial Hospital offers a drug take-back bin. CMH reminds the public, the drug take-back bin is located at the entrance of the Robinson Rural Health Clinic at 1101 N. Allen Street. They say the bin provides a safe, convenient, and environmentally friendly way to dispose of unwanted, unused, and expired medications.
