CCHD and IDHS Continue to Monitor WIC Funding

(Undated) — The Crawford County Health Department recently took to social media to assure those on WIC that funding will continue. According to a post on the CCHD’s Facebook page, as the government shutdown continues, the Illinois Department of Human Services has stated that WIC funding will remain available throughout November. They say participants should continue to go to WIC appointments, shop, and redeem benefits as usual. IDHS and the Crawford County Health Department are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates as information becomes available.
