(Undated) — Trick or Treat is coming up tomorrow across the county and Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, is reminding the public to stay safe. He says it’s important to trick or treat in groups, take a flashlight with you and place reflective tape on your costumes, make sure any “weapon” that may be a part of your costume in not too sharp, only visit well-lit houses with porch lights on, never ride with strangers, only enter a home with a trusted adult, examine candy before eating, and contact the authorities if you see anything suspicious or dangerous. He says it’s important to establish rules to ensure a “scary safe time.”
