(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has ticked higher this week. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.12 a gallon, seven cents higher than Monday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.29 a gallon, eight cents higher than the beginning of the week. Drivers in Indiana are paying an average of $2.96 a gallon, six cents below Monday’s average. Despite a seven-cent per-gallon jump since Monday, Oklahoma drivers continue to enjoy the lowest prices nationwide, with drivers paying a statewide average of $2.50 a gallon. Drivers in California are paying the highest at $4.63 a gallon, up a penny from Monday.
