(Undated) — Gas prices continue to fall as we head toward the holiday weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average has fallen to $3.04 per gallon, eight cents lower than on Friday. Here in the “Land of Lincoln,” the statewide average is $3.23 a gallon, six cents lower than Friday’s average. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying an average of $2.89 a gallon, seven cents lower than Friday’s average. Oklahoma drivers continue to enjoy the lowest prices nationwide, with drivers paying a statewide average of $2.45 a gallon, a nickel lower than Friday. Drivers in California are paying the highest at $4.56 a gallon, down seven cents from Friday.
