CCHD Offering Free Flu and COVID-19 Home Test Kits

(Undated) – Public health authorities are reminding everyone to take precautions to avoid the seasonal flu and COVID-19. The Crawford County Health Department reminds the public that the single best way to reduce the risk of seasonal flu and its potentially serious complications is to get vaccinated. However, they say good health habits like avoiding people who are sick, covering your cough, and washing your hands can also help stop the spread of germs and prevent respiratory illnesses. The CCHD is currently offering free home COVID-19 test kits and Home COVID-19/Influenza A/B Test kits. They say kits are available in the front entryway of the Crawford County Health Department. They ask that you be courteous and take only what you need.
