(Undated) — There will be ample opportunity to celebrate the holidays this weekend. The Oblong Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public to a “Merry Hometown Christmas.” Oblong Chamber President, Angie Catt, says the celebration will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight in Oblong with events at the South Range Mini Park, the Crawford County Fairgrounds, and the new firehouse. The City of Robinson is inviting the public to this weekend’s “Home for the Holidays” celebration. According to Robinson Chamber Executive Director, Lisa Schaefer, they have a record number of vendors for the holiday market, a jingle bell fun run, ice skating, trackless train rides, and a life-size snow globe and an igloo for photo-ops. The “Home for the Holidays Festival” will run today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Robinson Civic Center.
