(Robinson) — The Robinson Police Department has released enforcement numbers from its Thanksgiving patrols. According to Robinson Police Chief, Eric Schmidt, the Robinson Police Department participated in the statewide “Click It or Ticket” and “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” mobilization to reduce crashes and save lives. Enforcement focused on seat‑belt use, speeding, distraction, and alcohol and drug impaired driving, including cannabis. He says during the campaign, the Robinson Police Department reported two DUI arrests, two Illegal Transportation of Alcohol Citations, two Drug Arrests, one Fugitive apprehension, and five other traffic citations. Schmidt says these results reflect their commitment to a safe community.
