Gas Prices Continue to Fall

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell eight cents over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $2.90 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.03 a gallon, six cents lower than Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying an average of $2.81 a gallon, eight cents lower than Friday’s average. Oklahoma drivers continue to enjoy the lowest prices nationwide, with drivers paying a statewide average of $2.30 a gallon, three cents lower than Friday. Drivers in California are paying the highest at $4.41 a gallon, down eight cents from Friday.
