Another Blast of “Arctic-air” Expected this Weekend

(Undated) — Windy conditions and another shot of “Arctic air” are in our forecast. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, northwest wind gusts of up to 50 mph are expected today, making travel difficult for high-profile vehicles. They also say that “brief, localized visibility reductions” are possible in a band of snow this morning between 10 a.m. and Noon. The National Weather Service also says another shot of Arctic air will arrive late this week, bringing wind chills below zero Saturday night. Sunday’s forecast is calling for sunshine and a high of just 15.
