(Undated) — Pending final approval, Eagle Theater and its property are now under new ownership. The Crawford County Development Association yesterday announced the results of a “Sheriff’s Sale” held on Tuesday. According to a CCDA press release, the court-ordered sale of the Eagle Theater property at 1802 N. Main Street was part of foreclosure proceedings. At the sale, Newtek Small Business Finance, LLC was the successful bidder for the property. The sale remains subject to court approval, and a hearing to confirm the sheriff’s sale is scheduled for January 14th in the Crawford County Circuit Court. Find the full release below.
