Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $2.75 a gallon, three cents lower than Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $2.87, down two cents from Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying an average of $2.78 a gallon, six cents lower than Friday. Oklahoma drivers continue to enjoy the lowest prices nationwide, with a statewide average of $2.15 per gallon, down four cents from Friday. Drivers in California are paying the highest at $4.18 a gallon, unchanged from Friday.
