CMH Introduces First Baby of 2026

(Robinson) — Crawford Memorial Hospital has announced the first baby of 2026. According to CMH, Evelynn Jo Steffey is the daughter of Cody and Natalee Steffey. She made her entrance as CMH’s first baby of 2026 on Tuesday at 1:59 p.m. Evelynn weighed 5 pounds, 14 ounces, and is 18 inches long. Dr. Brianne Rehg delivered the baby and said everyone is doing well. The Illini Prairie Quilt Guild donated a beautiful handmade quilt to the family, and the CMH Auxiliary gave them a gift bag packed full of sweet essentials from their gift shop, the Unique Boutique. Evelynn was welcomed home by her big brother Cillian Steffey.
