Gas Prices Fell Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $2.75 per gallon, five cents lower than it was on Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $2.85, down four cents from Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying an average of $2.63, six cents lower than on Friday. Oklahoma drivers continue to enjoy the lowest prices nationwide, with a statewide average of $2.16 per gallon, down two cents over the weekend. Drivers in California are paying the highest at $4.15 a gallon, down three cents from Friday.
