Gas Prices Fell Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $2.77 per gallon, a seven-cent decline from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen three cents from Friday to $2.87 a gallon. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying an average of $2.80 a gallon, six cents lower than Friday. Oklahoma drivers continue to enjoy the lowest prices nationwide, with a statewide average of $2.29 per gallon, a penny lower than the end of last week. Drivers in California are paying the highest at $4.13 a gallon, four cents lower than Friday.
