Investigation Continues into Friday Fatal Accident

(Undated) — The investigation continues into a fatal Friday accident. According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, at around 8:35 a.m. Friday morning, deputies responded to the scene of single vehicle accident on County Road 700 N. near County Road 850 E. in Robinson Township. Authorities report that the vehicle slid of the road as a result of slick roads, rolling over, and becoming submerged in about three feet of water. The vehicle was reportedly submerged for nearly forty-five minutes before authorities were notified and could respond. Crawford County Rescue, United Lifecare Ambulance Service, Robinson Fire Department, and Robinson Police Department were also dispatched to the scene.
